# The AACB Non Member Joining offer provides 12mths AACB membership. A combined offer covering both your registration and a one-year AACB membership (valid to 30 June 2028). AACB staff will be in touch after the course to arrange membership. Please note: registration must be paid in full by 1 February 2027 to access this combined offer. 

^Shared workplace registration will be under the organisation name and can be shared between staff from the same organisation. Only one person at a time can attend under the shared registration eg. 2 people per day, sharing a half day each or 1 person per day. One name badge will be provided per registration to be shared. A USB of notes is provided to be shared. Names of those attending will be required.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The registration fee must be paid in AUD respective of your country of origin. For overseas payments, bank fees must be added & covered in your payment.
  2. Payment may be made by credit/debit card (VISA, Mastercard) or invoice (bank transfer) in AUD only. 
  3. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice and all registration payments must be received before the start of the course. 

Cancellation policy:

  • A full refund will be made on those received before 8th January 2026.
  • No refunds will be made on cancellations after 8th January 2026, however the ticket is transferable to a substitute from the same organisation.
  • All cancellations must be received in writing to AACB at conference@aacb.asn.au.
  • Completion of the online registration form signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Please note: The course is an in-person meeting only. Sessions will be recorded and a fee will apply for non-delegates to gain online access (this replaces the purchase of course notes, now providing you with access to online recordings as well as PDF course notes). The online access fee & recordings will be available 2-3 weeks after the course.  


Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance prior to coming to the Course. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the meeting, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Organisers, AACB, and the secretariat will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure. Please speak to your travel agent or airline in regard to this matter.

The Australasia Association for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine (AACB), the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, the conference organisers and secretariat are not liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs, claims or liabilities suffered or incurred by registrants including consequential or indirect losses or loss of profit through registering for the conference, attending the conference, cancellation of the conference, failure of the conference to achieve your expectations, or for any error or omission by AACB. 

The AACB, the conference organisers and secretariat will not accept liability for the damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons or loss or damage to their personal property as a result of the meeting or related events.
